Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026

Empowered Journeys ABA LLC (“Empowered Journeys ABA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information in connection with our website (empoweredjourneysaba.com) and the forms available on it, including our Service Inquiry form and our Professional Referral form. It does not apply to information we receive outside of the website, such as through a completed Client Intake Packet, treatment records, or other clinical documentation, which is instead governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable healthcare privacy law.

Information We Collect

We collect information you choose to provide directly through our website, including:

  • Contact information, such as a caregiver’s or referring professional’s name, email address, and phone number
  • Information submitted through our brief Service Inquiry form, such as a child’s age, general location (city and ZIP code), preferred language, general service interests and availability, autism diagnosis status, and general insurance or funding preferences
  • Information submitted through our Professional Referral form, such as the referring professional’s credentials and practice information, and general information about the family being referred (for example, a child’s name, date of birth, city/ZIP, and the reason for referral)
  • Any additional information you choose to include in an open-text field or in an email or phone call to us

Our forms are intentionally brief and are not designed to collect Social Security numbers, insurance member ID numbers, insurance card images, medical records, or detailed clinical or behavioral history. Please do not include this type of information in our online forms; more detailed and sensitive information is instead collected later, securely, as part of a formal client intake process if your family moves forward with services.

We also automatically receive limited technical information common to most websites, such as browser type and general usage information, through our website hosting and analytics-related technologies described below under “External Links and Hosting Technologies.”

How We Use Information

We use the information submitted through our website to:

  • Respond to inquiries and referrals and follow up about current availability
  • Determine whether our services may be appropriate for a family’s needs
  • Communicate with caregivers, prospective clients, and referring professionals about next steps, intake, and scheduling
  • Maintain internal records of inquiries and referrals
  • Operate, maintain, and improve our website
  • Meet legal, regulatory, and administrative requirements

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use information submitted through our website for third-party advertising purposes.

Authorized Service Providers and Vendors

We work with a limited number of third-party service providers who help us operate our website and manage inquiries on our behalf, such as our website hosting provider and business productivity and email service providers we use to receive, store, and respond to form submissions. These providers are authorized to use information we share with them only as necessary to provide their services to us, and are not authorized to use it for their own independent purposes.

When Information May Be Shared

Outside of the authorized service providers described above, we do not share the information submitted through our website with third parties except:

  • With your consent, or at your direction (for example, when a referring professional refers a family, limited information is used to contact that family)
  • To comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of Empowered Journeys ABA, our clients, or others, where permitted by law
  • In connection with a change in business structure, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to applicable confidentiality obligations

Data Retention and Security

We retain information submitted through our website for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry or referral, maintain accurate business records, and meet applicable legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information submitted through our website from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Information

Our website and forms are intended for use by adult caregivers, legal guardians, and authorized professionals—not by children. Any information about a child that is submitted through our Service Inquiry or Professional Referral forms is submitted by a parent, legal guardian, or an authorized referring professional on the child’s behalf, not directly by the child. We use that information only as described in this Privacy Policy, in connection with evaluating and providing ABA services to the child.

Your Privacy Choices and Requests

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we have collected about you through our website, to request that we correct inaccurate information, or to request that we delete information you have submitted, subject to our legitimate business, legal, and recordkeeping needs. You may also decline to complete our online forms and instead contact us directly by phone or email. To make a request, use the contact information below.

External Links and Hosting Technologies

Our website is hosted using a third-party web hosting provider and uses Google Fonts for typography. Our website may also contain links to third-party websites (for example, insurance provider websites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party websites, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects when this policy was most recently revised. Continued use of our website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
